The Apocryphal New Testament writings, Part One

Objection: The Christians have lost 11 parts of the Gospel which were attributed to Christ. They have also lost nine letters from John, two from Andrew, Mathew, Philip and one from James; accounts of the Gospel by Bartolomew, Thomas, James and Matthews and some acts of Christ's apostles-four of Thomas and two of Matthew. There is another collection of books which the Christians also lost; there are attributed to authors whose names we cannot find anywhere.

Response: Christianity commands us to inquire and search: "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1). This means we are to use our minds to differentiate between true guidance and error.
Christianity warns us against accepting distorted teachings. The Apostle Paul warned the people of Galatia against accepting teachings other than what he had taught them. He said, "But even if we or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:8). In 2 Timothy 1:13, Paul said, "Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus." In Revelation 22:18-19, the Apostle John says: "For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book." However, Muhammad said: "If you hear about something I said, which you did not know but cannot deny, whether I really said it or not, then believe it, for I do not speak what is unknown or deniable. If you hear about something I said, which you did not know but deny, then reject it, for I do not speak what  is unknown or deniable" (related by al-Hakeem al-Turmuzi). This principle was the reason behind the entry of hundreds of thousands of fabricated saying!
The first Christians and the leading scholars who were contemporaries of the disciples never mentioned these works in their writings. Neither Clement, Ignatius, nor Hermas, who all wrote from AD 70 to AD 180, mentions any of these manuscripts.

The distinctives of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Qu'ran, part Six and seven

6)The Arabian Messenger himself, Mohammad, testified to the perfection of the Lord Jesus Christ. He taught that the Lord Jesus Christ was solely the one among all humans, past present and future, who was not touched by the evil one. Mohammad was quoted by El-Bukhari: "Satan pokes with his finger the side of every human, at birth, expect Jesus, son of Mary; when he came poke Him, he poked the Curtain."

7) The Lord Jesus Christ without exception was exclusively distinguished in the Qur'an from all other humans, including all prophets, in fact that He was the Creator. The Qur'an attributed this saying to Jesus: "I will create for you out of the clay as the likeness of a bird; then I will breath into it and it will be a bird. (House of Imran 49). No body else has ever created any living thing, out of clay except the Lord Jesus Christ.

My Muslim friend, The Historical Reliability of the Gospel, part Five

The word Injil ("Gospel") is an Arabic translation of the Greek word Evangelion which means "happy message" or "good news," for it proclaims to all the absolute love of God towards sinners through the atoning death of Christ on their behalf; whoever truly believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). Before addressing the belief that the Gospel of the Christians has been abrogated, we would say that anyone can accuse someone with whatever accusation he likes-but if there is no convincing evidence to back the accusation, it becomes null and void. Thus, those who say that the Gospel has been abrogated are obliged to mention:

  • The original state of the verses abrogated
  • The names of those who abrogated the Gospel, the time of abrogation and the purpose behind it.
  • How the Gospel managed to be abrogated when, by the second century, thousands of Gospel texts had already spread to different countries in several languages.
  • The method the abrogators used to cover up the alleged abrogation, which only the opponents of Christianity supposedly discovered and that hundreds of years after the alleged abrogation had taken place.
Since the opponents did not support their accusation with evidence, their accusation is baseless and ineffective. Nevertheless, we have examined the accusation from different perspectives, coming to the conclusion that the Gospel is free from any abrogation:

The early Christians kept even the false accounts of the Gospel and made them available to interested readers. The Christians of the second through fourth centuries did not burn the books that heretics wrote about Christ; these heretics called their writings "gospels," in an attempt to make them believable. The early Christians kept false gospels, for they were absolutely sure about the authenticity of the Gospel they had in their hands. Moreover, they also printed and spread these false gospels in many languages, according to the principle of free speech, and gave people of all ages the chance to compare the content of these books with that of the true Gospel. This shows clearly the honesty and impartiality of the early Christians. Consequently, no one can accuse the early Christians of having any changes in the Gospel.

The distinctives of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Qu'ran, part Five

Only Jesus Christ was restrictively distinguished from all prophets and saints with His infallibility and was the only one to be singled out, even in the Qur'an for His perfection. He was an exception because "High honored shall He be in this world and the next" (Surah of the Imran 45).
We need to read John 8:46, "Which of you convineth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?"
The Bible teaches us that "all have sinned" without any exception. Also, the Qur'an mentions that all the prophets, fell under sin including Adam (Tah 116). Abraham (Poets 82). Moses (Poets 20), David (Sad 25), and Mohammed (Victory 2, Mohammed 21, Believer 57). In the meantime, the Qur'an testifies that Jesus is not only exception distinguishes among all men, who is infallible of faults and sins. The Qur'an expounded on this subject saying: "Blessed He has made me, wherever I may be." (Mary 31); also it says: "High honored shall he be in this world and the next." (House of Imran 45). El-Razi gave his interpretation of this verse saying: "He is high honored in this world by reason that He is blameless and in "the next" because of His great righteousness and the superiority of His position before God." (Volume 3; page 686). The conclusion of this is that the Qur'an and the Muslim scholars have acknowledge that infallibility and perfection belonged exclusively to Christ, at the time that such attributes belong only to God. All the prophets conceded that they had sinned and erred and none of them claimed to be infallible. How could Christ be the One and only perfect and infallible One, if He Himself was not God, to whom belong perfection and infallibility? No human can be infallible, for all have sinned. Therefore, by necessary Jesus is God.

No one burned or disposed of the original scripts of the Gospel, as was the case with some ancient books when someone wanted to hide or conceal parts for personal reasons. Rather, these original scripts remained as they were and after the second century many copies were made from them; these still exist today.

The distinctives of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Qu'ran, part Four

According to the Qur'an, only Jesus, and in exception to all humans, spoke while in the Cradle (Mary 22-32). In other words, the Qur'an tells us that Christ needed no one to teach Him anything, not even how to speak and the Bible says this concern: "Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord or being his counselor hath taught him? .......who taught him in the path of judgement and taught him knowledge and shewed to him the way of Understanding?" (Isaiah 40:13-14)
Naturally, no one can teach the One who emanated from God and was called the Word of God.

The Gospel was not recorded on stone or bone, as was the case with many ancient writings, but very accurately and carefully on papyrus and parchment scrolls. When these scrolls became old, new ones were prepared, as was the case with important Greek and Romans writings. It is clear that no part of the Gospel was lost, nor was a new text inserted in place of the original.

There are distinctives and attributes that were given to Christ in the Qur'an that were never given to anyone else who ever he was.

Jesus Christ alone, with no match on earth, emanated from God, for that reason, He did  not need a sexual, genetic birth: "The Messiah, Jesus, Son of Mary, God's messenger and His Word that He committed to Mary and a Spirit from Him" (The Women 171).

My Muslim friend, The Historical Reliability of the Gospel, part Two

The word Injil ("Gospel") is an Arabic translation of the Greek word Evangelion which means "happy message" or "good news," for it proclaims to all the absolute love of God towards sinners through the atoning death of Christ on their behalf; whoever truly believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

Since the opponents did not support their accusation with evidence, their accusation is baseless and ineffective. Nevertheless, we have examined the accusation from different perspectives, coming to the conclusion that the Gospel is free from any abrogation:

The Gospel had spread in writing, without any revision, among the contemporaries of the Christ and by the second century was translated into several languages:

  • After having spread orally throughout many countries in the East and West by the middle of the first century, the Gospel was then written down by people who knew everything about Christ. It was written either in a detailed biography-as Matthew, Mark, Luke and John did-or in the form of an explanation of His principles and teachings as did Paul, Peter, James and others who wrote independent of one another. This proves that they were honest and that there was no conspiracy among them. Each one wrote apart from the other.
  • The authors were so different from one another that it would have been impossible for them to agree on an issue unless it had already been an accepted fact for them all. Matthew was a keen accountant; Mark, an enthusiastic young man; Luke, a scrutinizing physician; John, a clear-thinking, self-controlled old man; Paul, a profound philosopher, Peter, a courage striver and James, a well-known expert. While Luke the physician was a highly educated and broadminded Greek, most of the others were strict Jews. None of the authors could have imaged that what he was writing would one day be the Christian Book passing from one generation to the next down the centuries and into all countries. Had they known, one of them might have inserted or deleted something from the biography and teachings of the Christ, in order to make the text more compatible with and appealing to humanistic tastes and tendencies. But their only aim was to record the biography and teachings of the Christ honestly and plainly for the benefit of their contemporaries who had not yet heard about them.
In the second century, copies of the Gospel numbered in the thousands, appearing in several languages for the benefits of those who had adopted Christianity. According to the testimonies of Justin Martyr and Tertullian, the Gospel was recited during worship meetings and many believers from among the Jews and pagans memorized it contents. Since the Gospel was transmitted in thousands of copies and translated into several languages and because it had spread into different countries, being memorized by countless believers, it is impossible that it could have been falsified.

There are distinctives and attributes that were given to Christ in the Qur'an that were never given to anyone else who ever he was.

Here is some Bible verses for you, my Muslim friend.

John 1:1-4

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[it.

John 1:14

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Since the opponents did not support their accusation with evidence, their accusation is baseless and ineffective. Nevertheless, we have examined the accusation from different perspectives, coming to the conclusion that the Gospel is free from any abrogation:

Neither the contemporaries of Christ nor their successors questioned the authenticity of any part of the Gospel text:

  • Just ten days after the ascension of Christ into heaven, the Gospel began to spread orally among the people of Jerusalem who had lived with Him and knew everything about Him (Acts 2-7). Not even one of them disproved anything mentioned in the Gospel message. After that, in no more than three years, the Gospel spread to many Eastern and Western countries, being translated into the languages of these lands. Most of the inhabitants of these nations were permeated by Greek culture and influence then, so they did not accept the news until it had been thoroughly scrutinized from all angles (see Acts 17:10-12, 19:8-24). Historically, no one accused the evangelists of abrogating or distorting the Gospel.
  • Neither Jews nor pagans, despite their cynicism toward Christian beliefs and practices since the first century (owing to its spiritual essence, far loftier than mere human understanding), accused Christians of deleting from or adding to their Gospel.
  • The heathen philosophers who accepted Christianity during the first centuries were famous for their research and debating. They themselves divided into factions over the explanation of particular verses in the Gospel. Each group was hostile toward the other and tried to find fault on various philosophical points. Yet, no group accused any of the others of abrogating the Gospel upon which all parties depended for research and discussion. Thus, their unfiled acceptance of the Gospel text proves they regarded it as authentic.

1) Jesus was the only person ever to be born of a virgin, distinguished from all humans and prophets without any exception. The Qur'an says about Mary, the mother of Jesus, as the Angel announced to her the coming baby, as saying: "She said, How shall I have a son, (me) whom no mortal has touched, neither have I been unchased. He said, Even so thy Lord has said, Easy is that for Me and that We may appoint Him a sign unto men and a mercy from Us. It is a thing determined (Mary 16-34).

If you are a Muslim, the Third and Fourth Centuries

There were many scholarly authorities during the the third century. Among them was Origen. He was born in Egypt in AD 184 and died in AD 253. He was renown for his godliness, so much so that pagan philosophers gave him their writings to edit and embellish. He was a Bible commentator and preacher. Dionysius, Bishop[ of Alexandria, and Gregory, Bishop of Neo-Caesarea, were men of similar distinction.
In the fourth century, we find the historian Eusebius of Caesarea who died in AD 340. Hilarius, who died in AD 366, also wrote during this time.
Some 50 works out of a total of nearly 100, from the pens of these eminent scholars, have come down to us. Some are interpretations of the Bible, while others a variety of subjects and are well-supported by quotes from most of the sacred writings. These authors lived at different times and in various places. Clement was famous in Rome, Ignatius in Antioch, Polycarp in Smyra, Justin Matyr in Syria, Irenaeus in France, Athenagorus in Athens, Theophilus in Antioch, Clement and Origen in Egypt, Tertullian in Carthage and Augustine in Hippo (both in North Africa), and Eusebius in Caesarea. This wide variety of writters indicates the spread of the Christian faith. There could have been no conspiracy among the Christians over such a vast area to corrupt their Scriptures. Christian scholars compared 686 copies of the New Testament with existing translations, excerpts and quotations and all were found to be uniform. This proves the freedom of the Bible from tampering, corruption, alteration, additions or omissions. It has been of unanimous persuasion among Believers that the integrity of the New Testament books has been preserved.
I will throw my Muslim friend a common objection that you will most likely say to me.

Objection:
Scholars have disagreed over the chronology of the accounts of the Gospel of Christ because the ancients had shaky records upon which they based their writings. Those who followed passed on the doubtful texts. This resulted in disputes over when the various accounts of the Gospel were written.

Response:
The fact that we cannot accurately determine the dates when the Gospel accounts were written does not devalue them. The same is true of the Koran; although it is of more recent age than the Bible, Muslims have differed widely about the dates when the suras were composed. The location where certain suras were recited has been questioned. It is obvious that the Meccan suras descended before the Hijra and the Medinan suras came after. But whether the Prophet Muhammad recited a certain sura un Mecca or Medina, during a year of conquest, the farewell pilgrimage or one of his journeys cannot be proven. There have also been difference over the Fatiha ("the prologue"). Some have said it describes in Mecca but others say it was in Medina: still others have said it described in both cities ot that half came down in each. One opinion saus that Satan cried when the Fatiha descended. Some suras over which there are difference of opinion are the following: Jonah, Thunder, Pilgrimage, Salvation, Ya Sin, Sad, Apartments, The Merciful Lio, The Ranks, Congregation, Mutual Fraud,  The Kingdom, Mankind, Stinters, The Most High, Dawn, The Land, Night, Power.

This is the case with the Koran even though its date of composition is later than that of the Bible. There are also disagreement over of all parts of the Koran's contents- indeed within the very verses themselves. However, when the New Testament books were being collected, the only difference that arose concerned the entire collection of books, not the individual chapters and verses. But even with these discrepancies over the Koran, no one has devalued or rejected it.

If you are a Muslim, the Purpose of the Qur'an, part three

I will say this. My Muslim friends may obey the Qur'an commands and read this Gospel that they may reason and come to the saving knowledge of the Savior that is able to save you from your sins. For the meaning of these verses is but a warning that whoever refuses to believe the Gospel message has disobeyed God and defied God's Word. What will their excuse be on the Day of Judgement, knowing that the Lord Jesus Christ will be the righteous Judge on that day  (as also, the Arab Messenger said).  However, if your heart's desire is to inherit eternal life, you will have to believe the Bible and do according to its precepts. In the Bible, you will find the only way to harmonize between God's justice and mercy, to experience the forgiveness of sins and to have the everlasting joy in Christ Jesus, the Near-stationed to God. Consequently, you will be able to know and be sure of your eternity and you will be able to say: "I know whom I have believed and I am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day" (1 Timothy 1:12).

Muslims needs to read this about the early church leaders in the second century, part five

Athenagorus. An Athenian philosopher, he is counted among the famous Biblical scholars. He defended Christians in a letter to Emperor Mark Anthony. He also wrote a treatise on the subject of the resurrection of the dead, in which he quotes from the Bible. Other writers who quoted New Testament books are Theophilus, Bishop of Antioch; Clement of Alexandria and Tertulian.

If you are a Muslim, the Purpose of the Qur'an, part two

The Qur'an text has adopted this very important route of pointing its readers to the Bible, we've found a cause to quote it, so that the reader may reason and believe. Furthermore, the Qur'an continues to insist in its admonition that also Christians and Jews should ever uphold the Bible, saying: "People of the Book, you do not stand on anything until you perform (live according to what is in) the Torah and the Gospel. (Table 68). Then the Qur'an tells the Muslims to believe in the Bible saying: "Ye who have believed, believe in God.. and in the Book that He sent down before (meaning the Bible)... (Women 136). As you read the Qur'an, you find that it is pointing its reader towards the Bible. It does that because the Bible does not speak of educational principles and moral values only; but because it is the only Book that contains the message of salvation, forgiveness of sins and assurance for eternity.. a message man needs badly. Consequently, the Qur'an commands the Muslims, saying: "Ask questions of the people of the remembrance if you do not know." (Prophets 7).

Irenaeus. He was Bishop of Lyon in AD 170. His works are highly esteemed, for he was the disciple of Polycarp, the disciple of John the Apostle. He also knew many who had known the disciples of Christ. Although his writings were numerous, only five have survived. In these, he refutes the falsehoods of deceivers, manifests a remarkable knowledge of pagan writings and misleading heresies and demonstrates his mastery of both the Old and New Testaments. He quotes from all the books of the New Testament, except the letter of the Apostle Paul to Philemon, 3 John and James, because they were unnecessary for his argument. His references are lengthy and they show that the books we have today are the same which were in circulation during his day.

If you are a Muslim, the Purpose of the Qur'an, part one

As you read the Qur'an, you find that its text from beginning to end, assures its readers that it confirms the Holy Bible (Please read the following surahs: The Women 47, 50, 136; Cow 40-42; House of Imran 2, 75; Jonah 28; Table 52,72). The Qur'an pointed at the Bible in many of its verses, giving it the most beautiful and most wonderful descriptive terms, such as: "Guidance and Remembrance to men possessed of mind (Believers 49); "The Book, the Judgement and the prophecy" (Cattle 89); "Example and mercy" (Hood 17); "Light and guidance" (Cattle 154); "Guidance and mercy" (Cattle 154; Stories 43); "Farakan" (divider between good and evil) and remembrance (Prophet 48); "Clear revelation" (Cow 92, 153); "God's judgement" Table 46-48). Even though the Qur'an message is important for Muslims as they seek the truth of God, you will not find in it any provision for deliverance, forgiveness of sins, or assurance for eternity. However, the importance of the Qur'an in its message where it directs its readers straight to the Bible, the Book of Light, Guidance, Mercy and God's judgement; the only Book where sinful men can find the much needed message of salvation and assurance.

Muslims needs to read this about the early church leaders in the second century, part three

The Christians in France. In AD 170, during the reign of the Roman Caesar, Marcus Aurelius, the Christians in France endured terrible persecutions, especially in Lyon and Rouen. They sent letters to their brethren in Asia, informing them about their tribulation and referring to the Gospel of Christ according to Luke and John, to the book of Acts and to Paul's letter to the Romans, Ephesians, and Philippians; also mentioned are 1 Timothy, 1 Peter, 1 John and Revelation. Eusebius preserved most of these letters to us. During these days, Mileto was the famed bishop of Sardis who complied 13 volumes, of which only a few survived. Among his writings is a study of the book of Revelation.

Today's hope for Muslims

It is one of the four Gospels that were inspired to the Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ. The writer of this Gospel is John who lived with the Lord Jesus during his three years of ministry on earth, he also was an eyewitness of all the events, the miracles and the wonders that the Lord made. Further, he heard personally the Lord's captivating teachings and he was disciplined at the feet of the Savior, learning. John wrote this Gospel before the end of the first century after Christ the proofs of the authenticity and accuracy of this Gospel is in the fact that many of the early patriarchs and great writers and authors mentioned it in their writings every generation that came after John, without any interruption. Ignatius of Antioch, who himself was a disciple of John, mentioned it four times. Also, it was mentioned by Iklimandus of Rome and Barnabas who were his contemporaries. Furthermore, its mention occurred in the writings of Justin the martyr, Irenaus, Athinagoras, Theophilos, Origen, Eusebius, Augustin, and John the Golden Mouth. Those early great unquestionable and indisputable witnesses came uninterruptedly and tightly linked collaboration between the first century and the seventh century after Christ; i.e.. all of those saintly patriarchs and great writers came before Mohammad and testified to the accuracy and the genuineness of the text of the Gospel of John and inerrancy of its inspiration. Moreover, we find other proofs from outside Christianity that testified to the legitimacy of this book, in a number of Muslim Imams such as Ibn Taymiyya, Ibn ElQayyim El-Gawziyya, El-Razi and El-Baydawi quoted from it and referred to it, thus they acknowledge its authenticity and accuracy. Today, there are over eighty ancient manuscripts that completely agree with the text of this Gospel, which is now circulated among us.

Muslims needs to read this about the early church leaders in the second century, part two

Justin Martyr. Born in a Samarian village in AD 89, he embraced Christianity in AD 133, achieved fame by Ad 140 and was martyred in AD 168. He wrote a number of books in defense of the Christian faith, among them a letter to the emperor, Antonius Pius. He debated with Trypho the Jew and his treatise survives until today. In this work, it is evident that he had studied the philosophies of Pythagoras and Plato and found it wise to embrace the Christian faith. He mentioned all four accounts of the Gospel of Jesus, saying that Christians used to recite them in their places of worship. He also refers to the letters of the Apostles Paul, Peter and John and the book of Revelation. His testimony occupies a paramount place because it is the work of a learned thinker.

A great message for my Muslims friend

Hear my Muslim friend, you attack the Bible, you do not attack the Christians, but you are attacking God himself; in doing so, you are identifying with the accursed Devil in an attempt against the Word of God, before whose Judgement Seat they will stand. Such an act is nothing less than a conspiratorial complicity against God's Holy Book. Do not forget that Satan has found agents to work for him in every age and generation. Those wicked men plot with Satan in ugly attempts to smudge and stain the reputation of the Bible with all kind of accusations and assaults. However, we have to understand that God has given His Word an unconditional, eternal promise that heaven and earth will pass away but His Word will last forever. (Matthew 24:35; Luke 16:17). Don't ever forget that our God has the final word on the Judgement Day. Attacking God's Word is an attack on God Himself; and that is the work of Satan; and man's criticism of God's Word  is nothing less than collusion with God's enemy who uses his agents to conceal the truth by iniquity and exchange God's truth by a lie. Those insist on criticizing God's Word, claiming that they are wise, are nothing less than fools, perverted and perverting and promising liberty for unaware people, when they themselves are bond-slaves of corruption. They did not like to accept the accuracy of the Bible in spite of all the convincing evidence, the solid conformations, the clear affidavits and the irrefutable measures. But they became foolish in their thoughts, and their hearts were darkened. For this reason, God delivered them to a reprobate mind. However, the day will soon come when they will stand before the throne of the Condemning Judge and fall under His formidable condemnation where He will afflict them with His dreadful wrath. Thus, they will  receive the just punishment of their error (Romans 1).
"And woe to the unbelievers for a terrible chastisement (Abraham 2). Therefore, let us not comply with Satan, but rather, let us believe the Bible lest we fall in the net of those who fell under the wrath of God.

Muslims needs to read this about the early church leaders in the second century, part one

Papias, Bishop of Hierapolis. He was well known from AD 110-116. He met with Polycarp and possibly even with John the Apostle. In his writings, he quotes from all four accounts of the Gospel of Christ, 1 Peter, 1 John, The Acts of the Apostles and Revelation.

According to Muslims, are the Bible have been changed? Part Eight

The Qur'an testifies in tens of its verses in favor of the Old and the New Testaments, but we will quote only the following verses:

"And the have the Torah wherein is God's judgement ... Surely We sent down the Torah wherein is guidance and light; thereby the prophets give their judgement  ...
And We brought the Gospel wherein there is guidance and light and confirming that which is in His hand of the Torah and guidance and admonition unto the godly .....
And He sent down the Torah and the Gospel aforetime as guidance unto the people.."
(The Table 43-48; House of Imran 3).

The Qur'an continued in praising the Bible by insisting on the impossibility of altering the Book: "There is no altering to God's words." (Cave 26 & Cattle 34 &115). "Thou shalt not find altering to the law of God." (Jonah 65; the Cave 26, Victory 23) Then the Qur'an insists that the Bible itself is the Remembrance. As a matter of fact, every time the Qur'an mentioned the word Remembrance, it referred to the Bible not to the Qur'an (the Prophets 7, 48, 105) Please, look that up, for yourself, in the Qu'an. No wonder then it stressed the point: "We have sent down the Remembrance and We are surely Keeping it (from any foul play)." (El-Hijr9).
If God emphasized that He Himself inspired the Remembrance (which is the Gospel) and that He would keep it and guard it; how could a Muslim or a nominal Christian, be audacious enough to accuse the Almighty God of being a liar? How can they accuse Him that He was not mighty enough to guard His Word against any alteration or change? How can man criticize the living Word of God and slap God with accusations and ugly lies?

Muslims needs to read this about the early church leaders, part five

Polycarp. He was a disciple of John the Apostle who appointed him Bishop of Smyrna. He knew many who had seen Christ. Only one of his writings survives- a treatise in which he quotes some 40 items from various books of the New Testament. The original Greek survives, minus two or three chapters; however, the Latin translation exists in its entirety. In his treatise, he mentioned Christ's humility, teaching,s, suffering, death on the cross, resurrection and ascension into heaven. He also refers to the hardship Paul and the other apostles endured in their preaching and evangelism. Finally, he mentions some of the teachings of Christ and quotes from John and others who had been with Him.  Polycrap died a martyr in AD 166.

According to Muslims, are the Bible have been changed? Part Seven

Imam El-Razi, one of the most famous scholars, came to courageously defend the infallibility of the Bible and the soundness of its text. He said on page 327 of his Third Volume:
"How could there be any alteration in the Book whose sharpness of letter and words has reached a great level of circulation in the East and in the West?... How could anyone inject any alteration in the Torah with its great prominence among men? For there can no change of words occur in a book that is well circulated among men."
Every wise man can see that the alteration of the Bible was impossible for it was well circulated among many men of different faiths and backgrounds. It was in the hands of the Jews who were dispersed throughout the world and it was circulated among the Christians up to the uttermost parts of the world. Thus we see that according to sound logic, the Imam of Muslims Imams testified soberly and astutely that the alteration of the Bible was something impossible.

According to Muslims, are the Bible have been changed? Part Six

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNAS0aaViM4

By the seventh century after Christ, the copies of the Bible were numbered in the thousands; whether in the original languages or in the different translations. Those copies were circulated in the hands of Christians and non-Christians sects, in every country and in every nation. Furthermore, there was no military might, nor civilian authority, nor religious organizations, nor government powers that could have the legitimate warrant or legal jurisdiction that would enable them to spread their arms and reach out to every part of the world, with purpose of confiscating and changing every copy of the Bible. The job of collecting the thousands of copies of the Bible was and still is most impossible. Moreover, a big number of the ancient manuscripts, in the original languages and in different translations, are found in a number of the world's major museums. Besides, it was no surprise that all those ancient copies were in perfect harmony. Likewise, the Bible uniquely distinguishes itself from all other books, in this world, in that it is the only Book that has the most ancient manuscripts in existence today, and no other book can make that claim. Therefore, anyone who accuses the Bible of being altered is denying history itself and that is an attitude of ignorance.

Muslims needs to read this about the early church leaders, part three

Hermas, a contemporary of the Apostle Paul. He is mentioned in Paul's letter to the Romans (16:14). He wrote a three-volume work at the end of the first century which was regarded highly by the ancients; in it he quotes extensively from the books of the New Testament.

According to Muslims, are the Bible have been changed? Part Five

If the Bible has been tampered with and changed, why then the accusers have not presented a list of those verses that were supposed to have been changed, accompanied by a list of the original with an explanation of the purpose behind the change? The Bible was translated into Arabic in the days of Mohammad and was circulated among the Christian Arabian tribes such as Himiar, Ghassam,Najran, El-hira, and other. Also, it was in the hands of Mohammad himself, who of course, read it as did those who came before him. (Jonah 94); therefore, if there was any change of alteration in the Bible, the accusers would have kept the original text to prove their cause and claims.

Clement, Bishop of Rome. He worked with the Apostle Paul (Philippians 4:3) and wrote an epistle to the church at Corinth. He quoted many of the words of Jesus from the Gospel, as well as the words of the apostles from various New Testament epistles. It is believed that he was appointed to his position as bishop in AD91 and that he died in AD100.

According to Muslims, are the Bible have been changed? Part Four

Was it possible for the different Jewish sects to agree to the alterations of the Torah in favor of Christianity? Ha! As you well know, the Jews in those times were lurking for the Christians and raring to launch their attack against the Christians had the Christians introduced even one  single alteration to the Bible. Especially when the Jews were strongly protective of their Torah to the extent that they knew the number of its letters and its words so that nations used their strict reservation in guarding it, as a proverb, among themselves. For that reason, it was impossible to alter or change the Bible.
